Gear up to Give Back
Employees from the Wichita branch of Accessible Home Health were pleased to have been a part of PedalFest with Heartspring Pediatric Services on August 22nd of this year. Last year, PedalFest raised over $69,000 for the Pediatric Services Financial Assistance Fund, which provides financial support for therapies and services at Heartspring. Heartspring provided $101,000 in financial support to local families, providing life-changing therapies to 135 children.
Riders had the option of participating in one of 4 races, including a 25K, 50K, 100K, or a 5-mile family ride. The Accessible Home Health booth provided information to passers-by about the availability of services to families with special needs children. The kids who joined their families at PedalFest
enjoyed the candy and balloons at the booth! We met a multitude of generous and kind people and cannot wait to participate in PedalFest 2016!
